Dear Sir,
I have recently obtained a mortgage from your bank. The mortgage was on a house which my sister has purchased and as she is overseas, all had to be transacted via specific power of attorney, faxes and e-mails. To add to this, the institution, suggested by the realtor, with which this transaction had originally been started was not remotely helpful and offered an outrageous percentage with some vague promise of finding something better at some point. That was when I remembered that Shearson Mortgage had been very helpful when my sister refinanced another house and so gave you a call.
Not only did he remember who my sister and I were, albeit the initial transaction had occurred several months ago, but you did in the space of one work day what the other firm was unable to do in three weeks. Shearson Mortgage not only gave us an excellent rate, but asked the right questions and thereby minimized the usual mountain of paper work.
